HEAVY MINERAL SANDS

Ilmenite

Ilmenite

Ilmenite

Ilmenite is a primary ore of Titanium and a key source for Titanium oxide which is an important pigment, whiting, and polishing abrasive. Ilmenite is a black mineral with a submetallic to metallic luster. Titanium alloys are used for making high-performance parts and tools like aircraft parts, artificial joints for humans, and sporting equipment such as bicycle frames. Ilmenite is also used to produce synthetic rutile. Titanium dioxide pigments roduce a white color and brightness in paint, paper, adhesives, plastics, toothpaste, and even food. Titanium oxide abrasives are used in many other industries.

SPECIFICATION

Rutile

Ilmenite

Ilmenite

Rutile is the most abundant natural form of Titanium oxide mineral. Its color ranges from red to reddish brown, black, yellow to gold. The primary uses of rutile and titanium oxide made from rutile are: manufacturing titanium oxide pigments, manufacturing refractory ceramics, and production of titanium metal. Titanium oxide gives these products a color that is resistant to fading. Titanium oxide is also nontoxic and chemically stable. Those properties allow it to be used as a pigment in food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and many consumer products such as toothpaste.

SPECIFICATION

Zircon

Ilmenite

Garnet

Zircon is the natural form of Zirconium Silicate. Zircon is used to produce zirconium metal and zirconium dioxide. Zircon sand has a low expansion coefficient and is very stable at high temperatures. It is used as a refractory material in many foundry and casting applications. One of its most common uses is in the production of ceramics.  Zirconium is used in a variety of metal products that require a resistance to heat and corrosion. It is used to make high-performance alloys, specialty steel, lamp filaments, explosive primers, computer equipment and many electronics components.

Sillimanite

Garnet

Almandine Garnet is the heaviest and hardest of all abrasives in this world.  Garnet is a relatively hard mineral with a hardness that ranges between 6.5 and 7.5 on the Mohs scale. It could withstand in highest cutting speed and maintain low dust levels, with its crystalline shape giving a fast cutting action and longer life span. Garnet has served primarily for its many dimension applications i.e. blast media, water jet cutting, coated abrasives, surface preparation, grinding media, water filtration and so on.

Sillimanite

Sillimanite

Sillimanite

Sillimanite, also called Fibrolite, is a colorless, or white glassy silicate mineral frequently found infibrous aggregates. It occurs in high-temperature regionally metamorphosed clay-rich rocks. It occurs with andalusite, kyanite, potassium feldspar, almandine, cordierite, biotite and quartz in schist, gneiss, hornfels and also rarely in pegmatites. It is an index mineral indicating high temperature but variable pressure. Sillimanite is used in the manufacture of high alumina refractories or 55-60% alumina bricks.

Brown Fused Alumina for Bonded Abrasives

Brown Fused Alumina for Bonded Abrasives

Brown Fused Alumina for Bonded Abrasives

Brown Fused Aluminium Oxide (BFA) is widely used for Resin Bonded

Abrasives, Vitrified Bonded Abrasives, Sandblasting, Polishing, Surface

Preparation. Our BFA has excellent hardness, toughness, sharp edge and

self-sharpening character, hence is an ideal abrasive material. It also has

a min of 95% Al2O3 content, iron free, high purity, low magnetic contents

and extremely stable.

White Fused Alumina

Brown Fused Alumina for Bonded Abrasives

Brown Fused Alumina for Bonded Abrasives

White Fused Aluminium Oxide (WFA) is widely used for Abrasive Tools,

Sandblasting, Polishing, Surface Preparation. Our WFA is a hard, dense

and iron-free material with highest purity, hence is an ideal abrasive

material. It also has above 95% Al2O3 content, high degree of whiteness,

extreme hardness and a wide range of precise grit sizes.

Green Silicon Carbide

Brown Fused Alumina for Bonded Abrasives

Brown Fused Alumina for Coated Abrasives

Green Silicon Carbide is widely used for Abrasive Tools and Sandblasting.

Our Silicon Carbide is hard with good abrasive ability and is ideal for

abrasive blasting and polishing. It is widely used in abrasive tools,

grinding and polishing etc. It also has above 99% Al2O3 content, coarse

particles, good self-sharpening and good abrasion resistance.

Brown Fused Alumina for Coated Abrasives

Brown Fused Alumina for Coated Abrasives

Brown Fused Alumina for Coated Abrasives

Brown Fused Aluminium Oxide (BFA) is widely used in production of Sand

Paper, Sand Cloth, Sanding Belts etc. Our BFA is pure, angular, brown in

colour, sharp-edged, low in magnetic content and clean. It's an ideal

synthetic corundum for coated abrasive tools. It is roller milled material

and it has sharp edge for removing dust, rust, oxide layer, paint on

surface of metal and non-metal.

Black Silicon Carbide
